William “The Refrigerator” Perry, WWE Hall of famer, has been hospitalized in South Carolina. Perry, who was inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2006, was one of several football players to take part in the Battle Royal at WrestleMania 2, where he memorably pulled fellow Hall of Famer Big John Studd over the top rope after he was already eliminated.

Mickey Rourke isn’t the only actor to kickstart his comeback by leaping from the top rope of a wrestling ring. Todd Bridges, who played Willis on “Diff’rent Strokes” made his pro wrestling debut in San Francisco at the DNA Lounge, in a match produced by Fog City Wrestling.
