Ric Flair’s robe, which he wore to the ring, has been donated to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. The robe will be a part of the Smithsonian’s Pop Culture Exhibit alongside Jim Henson’s Muppets and Fonzie’s jacket from Happy Days.

Rey Mysterio signing a new deal with WWE

Rey Mysterio is expexted to sign a new three-year deal with WWE as his current deal is expiring soon, 411mania.com reported. AAA made a big play for Rey, as they offered a shocking amount by the standards of Mexico. The deal included a guarantee of more than seven figures per year. Most couldn’t understand how AAA was offering such a deal as it seemed out of their league. It is felt that if Rey took the deal that he could essentially do anything he wanted in AAA.

The No.1 contender for the WWE Title, Jeff Hardy, had received 6 stitches in Barcelona, Spain but will miss zero ring time and this is not considered by any means a serious injury nor will it affect Jeff’s in ring schedule. This sort of thing, while unpleasant, goes with the territory.
