Bobby Lashey, former WWE superstar has signed on with the Kentucky-based American Fight League. It is expected to be a non-exclusive deal, so he can still do wrestling. Additionally, Lashley showed up at tonight’s AFL show in Atlanta to announce his signing with the MMA league. Lashley cut a promo saying he wants to fight and be the best. The AFL will be running a pay-per-view event in the Philips Arena in October, which will mark Lashley’s debut with the company. An opponent has yet to be named.

According to a private news agency, Chris Benoit family house in Fayetteville, Georgia is now up for sale. Their previous residence in nearby Peachtree City is also up for sale, and is among the estate’s assets. Chris Benoit estate issues were finalized just last week, although details have yet to be disclosed.

Triple-H, WWE Champion is among a list of celebrities that will be giving interviews for an upcoming
documentary based on the life and career of Motorhead front man. Other stars contributing to the film include Foo Fighter frontman Dave Grohl, rock guitarist Slash and past and present Motorhead band members. The film is scheduled to be released in 2009.

The Rock’s divorce proceedings are officially done, according to court docs filed last week. They will share custody of their child, maintain their former residence, and Dany will retake her maiden name of Garcia. The Rock and his wife, Dany Garcia, have a 7 years old daughter, Simone. According to their divorce agreement, both sides will pay $5,000 a month into a trust fund to be used towards a private school, college education & other living expenses. Garcia and The Rock will share custody — splitting up holidays and what not — and both agreed to waive their right to alimony, though The Rock will fork over $22,454/month in child support. Garcia made $700k last year as a financial adviser.

Mark Madden the former WCW announcer has been removed from his afternoon ESPN Radio show. Madden was removed after making tasteless remarks last week in regards to Sen. Ted Kennedy, who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Madden’s comments referenced both the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy as well as Mary Jo Kopechne, a woman who drowned after a 1969 car accident with Ted Kennedy.
